This brand new Taylor 612e 12-Fret Grand Concert is a welcome addition to the Taylor family - a short-scaled, 12-fret beauty with excellent sustain and an incredible voice. This has a torrefied Sitka Spruce top and Big Leaf Maple back and sides, which, together, deliver a nice and full articulate sound, and the GC body shape is designed specifically to offer a focused voice and balanced tone. In addition, it's equipped with Taylor's Expression System 2 preamp/pickup to further engage you with its already stellar tone. Just plug it in and you hear the guitar exactly as it should sound - rather than the pickup.

This has a 24 7/8" scale length and 1 3/4" nut width, 18 frets along its Ebony fingerboard, and a comfortable Tropical Mahogany neck. This model also has a stand-out slotted headstock and some nice appointments: striped Ebony pickguard and Ebony binding; Ebony/Ivoroid/Abalone rosette; five-ply Ivoroid/black top purfling and two-ply Ivoroid/black back purfling; and Ivoroid wing fingerboard and headstock inlays.
