This brand new Fender '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb is a killer take on the original Silverface, "Drip Edge" Deluxe with some welcome updates. For starters, the lush, tube-driven 'verb and tremolo are available on BOTH the Vintage and Custom channels. The Vintage channel is classic Deluxe, while the Custom channel features a modified Bassman tone stack that gives you a little more modern flavor and flexibility, especially with pedals. The tones on tap are phenominal – beautiful Fender cleans, plus a slightly quicker gain onset for great, touch-sensitive breakup, without blowing the windows out. The 12" Celestion G12V-70 speaker is a nice touch as well, with a bit more attitude. This Fender '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb also features quality hand-wired tube sockets, custom-made Schumacher transformers, like the originals, and it comes with a fitted cover.
