The Walrus Audio - Messner Overdrive is light-gain overdrive that contains a wide range of tonal possibilities. The "Gain" remains transparent and true to your guitar's tone, while the "Color" parameter lets you bring out the shine, or the dark in your tone. The "Open/Closed" toggle allows the user bypass the clipping diodes from the circuit on the fly. Open lets everything through and the result is some slight breakup depending on where the "Gain" is set. Closed allows for more compressed and punchy attack. A fantastic addition to any pedalboard, this is a light-gain overdrive from Walrus Audio is one of our new favorites.
