The L.R. Baggs Direct Boxes - Stadium DI is designed for the electric bass player to have a great sounding D.I. box with versatile tone shaping tools. The all-discrete electronics provide a level of clarity found in some of the best studio direct boxes, now packaged in a convenient pedalboard ready form factor. The Growl knob helps to add some subtle saturation that fattens up a bass sound, rather than slam it with distortion. The Dive button, on the other hand, can take you into a rich harmonic breakup. The Attack is a highly specific EQ that singles out the frequencies of the strings to create muted jazz tones, or punch-y definition without monkeying with your fundamental tone. Comp EQ has a player's style in mind by adding evenness to your tone, without losing a natural feel to a player's dynamics. It sounds to good to be true, but here L.R. Baggs has nailed a great sounding, versatile bass player's D.I. box.
