This used Collings Acoustic Guitars - 1996 D1A V is a vintage-inspired dreadnought with all the specs one would expect from the crew at Collings. One of the earliest D1s to feature an Adirondack top, this classic combination of Adirondack Spruce and Mahogany make for a focused and direct tone with plenty of headroom when pushed.

The Mahogany neck features Collings' Vintage profile with the accompanying 1 3/4" nut and 2 3/8" string spacing. This slightly wider spacing opens up more room for your hands, which is especially useful for fingerstyle-playing - though it's also great for bluegrass flat pickers who need a guitar loud enough to compete with other instruments that are inherently louder. Here in Very Good condition, this D1A has some wear and tear and few scratches/dings in the finish along with some buckle rash. The neck has a dings as well (see photos). Includes the original hardshell case.
