This Gibson Acoustic Guitars - 1936 L-50 Archtop is a killer archtop that is as at home strumming chords as it is on jazz or western swing. After a professional refret and setup this guitar is a fantastic example of a Gibson Archtop from the '30s. The warm, woody tone with great play-ability makes for a purely suburb experience. With a nice "V" in the neck, this guitar feels great and has not seen too much action. There is a little nail indentation from use behind the first fret above the second string, and a little more fretboard usage behind the second fret. Neither is noticeable to the player or viewer, but merely under close inspection. Maple back and sides paired with a Spruce top and Rosewood fingerboard and bridge make for a rich, classic archtop tone. The pickguard has been lost over the years, and it includes a modern gator case for protection.
