AER Amps - Compact 60/2
This used AER Compact 60/2 Acoustic Amplifier and AG8-2 Active Monitor are in Very Good condition and make for an amazing 1-2 punch. At the center of it is the amp, one of the lightest full-bodied acoustic amps available at a meager 18 lb. Coupled with that is its 60 watts of power—a deceptively small number, because it can out-loud amps up to 200 watts. Its preamp system was included to soften the harshness of most Piezo pickups without sacrificing tonal quality, so when you play through it you actually hear the guitar, not the pickup. In addition, it has two input channels, allowing for a secondary guitar, a microphone, or even a separate musician entirely—it functions the same regardless, all through one amp. This features a powerful 8" twin-cone speaker, four built-in digital effects (Warm Hall reverb, Bright Hall reverb, Chorus with reverb, Flanger), and Gain, Bass, Middle and Treble. It has a lot of everything you could imaginably need—and in a shockingly compact casing. On the back it has the following outputs: tuner, line out, headphones, XLR-D1 out, effects loop, and footswitch.
The AG8-2 Active Monitor acts as a remarkable compliment to the Compact 60/20, not just as an individual PA or monitor. Great as a stage monitor, use it with your electric guitar or keyboard—it pairs well with just about anything you want to run through it.
