This Bart Reiter Special 11" Open-Back Banjo is a clean-cut and straightforward player that evokes traditional sounding banjos, only here with an especially mellow tone. This has an 11" three-ply laminated Maple rim with a Rosewood cap, a notched tension hoop, and 24 L-Shoe brackets. The tone ring is Rolled Brass. Great for both frailing and clawhammer-style playing, this is a nice and versatile banjo with plenty of volume.

This has a 26 1/4" scale length and 1 1/4" nut width. Its Maple neck is steel-reinforced and has an adjustable truss rod, while the fingerboard is Ebony and matched with a 5/8" Ebony-topped bridge. Other features include a laminated veneer down the center of the neck; a Maple dowel stick; 17 nickel-silver frets with pearloid dot inlays; a bone nut; and a no-knot tailpiece. This Bart Reiter Special 11" Open-Back Banjo is a superb instrument overall and comes full setup to your specs. A case is not included, but we do have one available for it for a little more.
