Famed guitarist John Pisano actually helped design this spectacular Eastman AR680ce John Pisano Signature Archtop - a beautiful guitar that jazz players in particular will find to be just the ticket. This has a 16" lower bout with a 2 3/4" depth - very comfortable. The top is solid hand-carved Spruce paired with hand-carved Mahogany back and sides. Together they provide a lively and warm tone that can't be beat. You also have a Custom Kent Armstrong humbucker, which unlike many of the Eastman archtops, is mounted to the top, as is Pisano's preference. The Mahogany neck has an Ebony fingerboard with a comfortable 1 3/4” nut width - very comfortable, particularly for those longer gigs.

The details here are outstanding from the Ebony buttons to the Maple binding. Check out the trapeze-style Rosewood tailpiece with the frog inlay - a cool nod to Pisano's lifelong passion for collecting croakers. An absolutely wonderful player, this Eastman AR680ce John Pisano Signature Archtop is a killer guitar that's not just for jazz players - folk, blues, and even rock sound equally incredible through it. Includes the original hard case and a setup to your specs from one of our luthiers.
