This used Gretsch G6122 1962 Chet Atkins Country Gentlemen is only a few years old and in Excellent condition still - with little playwear throughout. It features an arched Laminated Maple body with simulated f-holes and gold appointments - including hardware, plexiguard pickguard, and Grover Imperial tuners. It also has an Ebony Rocking Bar-style bridge, gold Bigsby B6G Vibrato tailpiece, and a double Muffler muting system - so you can mute either the top three strings, the bottom three, or all six.

The Maple neck is comfortable to play and the Ebony fingerboard is clean, while the slightly shorter 24.6" scale length is great for bends and soloing. It also has a 1.6875" nut width and the elusive zero fret, which allows for a tone that more closely resembles a fretted string than an open string. Loaded with a pair of High Sensitive Filter'Tron humbuckers, you can play any number of styles of music through it - be it harder rock, blues, jazz, or country. With its multiple controls and switches, you have plenty with which to find your sound - including a three-way pickup switch and a three-way Master Tone switch, as well as a Standby switch. This Gretsch G6122 1962 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman is from 2011 and has seen little playing time and is an absolute steal. Includes original hardshell time.
