This Heavy Electronics Highway 77 Distortion pedal dishes out thick, meaty Integrated Circuit (IC) distortion, and it does so in spades. It boasts a simple yet powerful control layout, with dynamic Level and Gain controls that can be tweaked to accentuate any playing style. This pedal works great with humbuckers and single-coils alike, adding just the amount of punch you need. Even low-level gain settings are warm and clear, without noticeable level loss as you ease up on the gain. The additional Voice knob creates a thick and massive low-end that, when rolled back, reveals screaming highs and mids.
