This Jetter Dharma Drive Distortion Pedal is the signature model of Buck Dharma, a long-time user of Jetter's products. Known for stacking pedals, the idea was to incorporate two of them into one two-channel overdrive with improved circuitry and performance. This is what they came up with - a versatile duo of distortion. On the right side is somewhat of a booster - it makes clean tones bigger, thicker, and as the gain is pushed, it gets closer to a Vox-esque tone. Edgy, but not full on nasty. Not like the left side. Once activated, you've got a circuit similar to a classic Marshall, modeled after the discontinued Gain Stage Purple. Up the gain and tone and you've got a biting and blistering monster. Combine them both and you have a distortive virtuoso, capable of producing well-defined and practically percussive tones. While designed primarily for on-stage use, the Jetter Dharma Drive Distortion Pedal can be toned down for the studio and home use due to its low noise floor.
