This Mossman Guitars - 1976 Golden Era model was the highest grade standard model offered by The Mossman Guitar Company of Winfield, KS. This example remains in very good condition and must have been custom ordered without a pickguard as there's no evidence of it ever having one. Features an intricate Tree of Life fingerboard inlay pattern and abalone top trim along with Sitka Spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides. Very small tight top crack at treble waist area. 3 inch tight back crack in center of back. The finish is in a very nice, clean condition with minor nicks, dings and scratches from normal use. The action is very playable with good saddle height. Appears to have had a professional quality neck set. The neck is nice and straight and frets are in excellent condition. Includes a correct era case also in excellent condition.
