This Ome North Star Vintage Bluegrass 11 Inch Resonator Banjo is a unique and outstanding pro level player, handcrafted in Boulder, Colorado. It weighs just ten pounds and has a remarkable yet classic bluegrass tone that really makes its presence known. It also has a very cool, almost steampunk, appearance with the aged brass tone ring and hardware, wooden armrest and all over satin finish.

Excellent build quality is here from the Renaissance head, Curly Maple Rim, Sweetone tailpiece and Sosebee bridge up to the simple yet elegant fretboard and headstock inlay work. The all brass tone ring on this North Star is new and lighter, which means the whole banjo is weighs less, hitting the mark at just ten pounds. The satin, varnish finish also brings some savings along over banjos of a similar high caliber, which is nice.
