Paul Reed Smith Electric Guitars - 1997 PRS Artist III

SOLD - Contact us for more options

This used Paul Reed Smith Artist III from 1997 is a fantastic player and, like all of PRS's guitars, is meant to be played fast. Made with a Mahogany body and Maple top, this has an Amber Sunburst finish, and is stocked with a pair of PRS' Artist Series humbuckers, fully capable of delivering some nice clean tones as well as some super harsh growls. The Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard are a great combo for such a fast-playing guitar, and are both incredibly clean and smooth.

This has a 25" scale and a 1 21/32" nut width (right between 1 5/8" and 1 11/16"). It plays great overall, whether you want to rock out or dial it down, and is in Excellent condition - you'll want to check it out and play it to believe how nice this guitar is. No dings or dents, only some light scratching (and those are hardly noticeable) on its back. It has some eye-catching appointments, too, including Paua headstock and fingerboard binding and bird inlays. The Paul Reed Smith Artist III was only made for two years, in 1996 and '97, so these aren't seen often - and definitely not in this good of condition. Includes its original hardshell case.
