The Squier Affinity Stratocaster, here with a Black finish and contrasting White pickguard, this year offers noticeable improvement in playability in addition to its already stellar classic looks. Specifically, we were really impressed with the smoothness of the necks and comfortable playability, which is key for those starting out. This Strat has a Rosewood fingerboard and Maple neck with the C-shaped profile, and a 9.5" radius - a good middle-ground for rhythm and lead guitarists.
Both incredibly affordable and versatile, this guitar offers everything you could want with some remarkable new refinements. It has an Alder body and three single-coil Strat pickups which make for an extremely wieldy guitar, perfect for blues, jazz, country, and rock 'n roll - you name it. It also has the traditional five-way toggle switch and Master Volume and two Tone controls, so you can easily dial in your tone.
The Squier Affinity Stratocaster is better than ever before, and comes with a full setup from our luthiers, too. Case not included, but you can add an MSM gigbag for just a little more.
