This used Taylor Grand Symphony GSe is what we like to call a 'transitional guitar.' It was made during a time Taylor was toying with nomenclature, so it's essentially a GS8e (which was introduced not long after) and a 716e (minus the Sunburst finish and pickguard). Regardless, this is a superb guitar with a big, bold tone that's perfect for aggressive flatpickers and strummers alike.

It has a Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides and a gloss finish. The neck and heel are made from Tropical Mahogany, and the fingerboard is Ebony. The frets are clean, while the guitar overall is in Excellent condition - it has a couple minor blemishes to its body, but nothing significant. The scale is 25 1/2" long and the nut is 1 3/4" wide.

Including also are plenty of nice appointments: Ivoroid binding throughout; a three-ring Abalone rosette; 4mm Abalone dot fingerboard and bridge pin inlays; and gold tuners. It's even equipped with Taylor's Expression System preamp system, so when you play it through an amp, you hear the guitar just as it was intended. A really stellar option to save some cash on a killer guitar, this Taylor Grand Symphony GSe includes a new hardshell case.
