The Taylor 818e Acoustic is dynamic big-bodied (16 3/4" lower bout) Grand Orchestra-style acoustic guitar - great for aggressive players, as well as those with a softer touch. Fingerstyle players as well as strummers find this to be the right choice thanks to its tone, playability and excellent response. With a Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides, you have a superb tonewood pairing for outstanding tonal characteristics - big, bold lows, well-defined mids, and crisp highs, making this a great guitar for all types of music and playing styles. This has enough volume to easily hold its own on stage with others, but with its Expression System 2 pickup, you can plug in and play without worry.

The neck and heel are made from Tropical Mahogany while the fingerboard is Ebony. Here with a standard 25 1/2" scale and 1 3/4" tusq nut, it's also loaded with premium appointments: mother-of-pearl Element inlays, a single-ring Abalone rosette, a distinctive Rosewood pickguard, Maple binding, and a subtle Maple backstrip. The Taylor 818e features classic aesthetics with modern styling and is an all around amazing guitar. Includes hardshell case and full setup from our luthiers.
