Vega Banjos - 1927 Little Wonder

This used Vega Little Wonder is a nice little tenor banjo that sounds great and still plays remarkably well after nearly 90 years of action. It has a natural finish, and a two-piece Maple neck with a dark center stripe down it. The head is 11 3/4", with a 9/16" Maple rim and tortoise binding around its rim, while the 1/4" metal tone ring is integrated with the rim itself. The scale is 20 15/16" long, and the nut is 1 1/8" wide. It has a no-knot tailpiece, a black headstock overlay, and an Ivoroid-bound Ebony fingerboard with 17 frets. Overall in Very Good condition, it has some wear to its head - but it was also made in 1927. Still, the Vega Little Wonder is a great vintage player with plenty of life left. Includes original hardshell case.
