Jim called this one the 'Ugly Duckling' and despite its appearance, he knows with a little care and TLC this vintage Gibson J-35 will sing again. Jim has done a refret on this, and put in a new saddle. He's just putting the finishing touches on it and it should be ready this week (end of March). For his thoughts on this J-35, and more detail photos, check out his latest blog post here.

This vintage 1939 Martin D-18 is our latest 'On the Bench' project. This '39 will be getting a neck reset, a new bridge, some TLC and a lot of cleaning before we release it back into the wild for sale. We feel pretty confident that under all the dirt and grime (and attached pickholder) there is a really nice but worn original finish, and a truly great instrument. Serial# 73525.
Check out Jim detailing the steps involved in removing the bridge and neck on our blog's On the Bench Update here.
