They sure do make a nice pair though. The Lead 55 is a very tight and incredible sounding amplifier. Goes from a slightly crunchy clean to a thick smooth lead tone with just a twist of your guitar's volume control. This is the sound of the famed 1969 plexi 1987 model at its very best. The Lead 55 uses a classic dual EL-34 output section, solid state rectifier and "lead" circuit values. And it's orange!
