Gibson Electric Guitars - 1965 Firebird IIIMPN: 1965 Firebird III It doesn't get much sweeter than this vintage 1965 Gibson Firebird III! This is in Very Good condition and all original, including the super cool, plaid lined hard case. It's loaded with the three original P90 pickups. There is a small piece of wood missing in the pickup chamber on the bass side of the pickups - possibly something that happened in the factory. It is minor, doesn't affect the sound and is undetectable unless you take it apart. Our shop recently cleaned all the electronics and this beauty sounds seriously incredible. The frets are in beautiful shape too. There is some play wear with a ding here and there, and some finish checking which is totally expected in something of this vintage, but this Firebird has a long life ahead. The original hard case is in Very Good condition (super spanky clean inside) but the handle is broken on one side. The serial # on this 1965 Gibson Firebird III is #509729. $4,000.
