This was handmade in an old schoolhouse in Longmont, Colorado by expert craftsman Monty Novotny who produced exceptional guitars under the NBN name until 1976. One of the first small builders of the time to really take off, NBN had original, unique designs that were extremely well built, and this guitar is no exception. From its signature body shape, to its large volute, this acoustic was not meant to simply copy a Martin or a Gibson - NBN's design is all its own. It has a Sitka Spruce top, gorgeous East Indian Rosewood back and sides, offset bridge pins, and a beautiful peghead inlay.
