The neck is Mahogany with a satin finish and a Rosewood fretboard. It's very comfortable, easy to play - weighs in at 6 lbs 10 oz. The (Anderson EQ'd) LR Baggs Piezo pickup and CMA stand beautifully each on their own but when you blend them, it really opens a whole new sonic palette. You have 3-way switching with Volume, Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass. "This is the perfect acoustic/electric instrument that allows you to really create exactly what you want - straight up acoustic, rock electric and anything in between. Yes, it can do the Electric/Acoustic thing better than any other, but I feel its strengths lie in its ability to create many different electric sounds ranging from a pop, rhythmic jangle to a full-on rock drive, but all with its own sweet touch. My favorite is to combine the two pickups and blend in just a hint of the acoustic pickup.
