Leo Posch OM-RW

Leo Posch Acoustic Guitars - OM-RW

Exceptional tone, outstanding build quality and stunning appearance come together beautifully in this Leo Posch OM-RW acoustic. This comfortable player, made right here in Kansas by luthier Leo Posch, gives pickers and strummers both a full, rich sound with unparalleled response. Posch blends the traditional craftsmanship of classic 20s-40s guitars with his own techniques, resulting in a lighter weight top that really sings and a guitar that you will fall in love with.

He hand selects his woods for their stiffness and tonal potential first and foremost, and uses old world hide glue construction and craftsmanship that give this OM remarkable resonance and response. There are wonderful appointments here too including black Mother-of-Pearl buttons on the Waverly tuners, gorgeous inlay work and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. You'd be hard pressed to find a more comfortable player too. Posch builds only about 20 guitars in one year and the care and knowledge of vintage instruments shines through beautifully in this Leo Posch OM-RW. Hard case included.

Leo Posch OM-M

Leo Posch Acoustic Guitars - OM-M

This Leo Posch OM-M acoustic is a really wonderful player for fingerstyle folks as well as strummers and gives you superb resonance and tone. This OM is constructed with classic 20s-40s vintage guitars in mind, made with hide glue and hand selected woods chosen for stiffness and tonal properties first and foremost. Because of Leo's own techniques that lighten the weight, the response and resonance here are outstanding.

"Like a Swiss army knife, this guitar does many "jobs" in a compact package. It's extremely light and feels very alive. Responds beautifully to a light touch - finger style passages are a joy. Very expressive. The neck feels ultra comfortable and easy to get around on. With a flat pick, it gets astonishingly loud while retaining clarity. Lots of headroom here without over-driving the Red Spruce top. It's hard to imagine a musical style that this fantastic little guitar wouldn't compliment." - Eric M.

This is a lively guitar, with a beautiful presence and warmth - and it's made right here in Kansas. The top is Red (Adirondack) Spruce, paired with Mahogany back and sides. Beautiful, simple appointments are here including Waverly tuners, long pattern diamond and squares fretboard inlays, and a bone nut and saddle. The nutwidth is 1 3/4" with a 2 5/16" spacing. Hard case included.

Leo Posch D-M

Leo Posch Acoustic Guitars - D-M

"This Leo Posch D-M is a fantastic bluegrass cannon - notes seem to explode out of this guitar! Leo hand selects his Red (Adirondack) Spruce tops with an eye for stiffness and sound potential over beauty, but this guitar has both in spades. Gorgeous "sunburnt" finish dresses up the top without obscuring the grain of the wood. Don't get fooled by good looks though, this Mahogany body dread provides tremendous tonal velocity, and awesome clarity." - Eric Mardis

This stunning D-M dread was crafted by Kansas luthier Leo Posch. If you're looking for a really responsive acoustic guitar with a rich, warm tone, this is it. Inspired by classic guitars of the 20s, 30s and 40s, Posch uses vintage construction techniques from hand selecting the woods, to the use of hide glue and nitro finishes. He adds to the luthier canon specific construction techniques that slightly lighten the guitar's weight, giving amazing response and incredible tone. This has Mahogany back and sides, an Ebony fretboard, and a 1 3/4" nutwidth - a truly great player. This Leo Posch D-M Dread comes with a hard shell case too.
