This Taylor GC5 ES is a dynamo - the smaller grand concert size provides surprisingly large volume and tone when played acoustically. When plugged in, with the Expression System, it still sounds natural and full. The tropical Mahogany back and sides and Western Red Cedar top lend to the great tone. This Taylor 416 CE 2008 Spring LTD is a first for Taylor in that it's a GS body and a CE. It's got the great low end of a larger dread along with the focused mid-range and smaller upper bout similar to a grand auditorium.
