This Keeley DS-1 Ultra Mod is Steve Vai's favorite pedal and it's easy to see why. It's the ultimate Keeley Seeing Eye Mod with extra goodies. The Xotic RC Booster is an incredibly transparent boost pedal that delivers the sweetest natural gain. This makes any amp sound better. It seems to open everything up to the point of not wanting to turn it off. Many pros use this pedal at the end of their effects chain, restoring clarity and adding drive, and they never switch it off. In conjunction with Fender, BOSS designed this stompbox to recreate the legendary tone of the 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb amp. Features include the same controls on the original Deluxe Reverb: Level, Gain, Treble, Bass, Vibrato and Reverb. The BOSS FDR-1 also functions perfectly as a 'pre-gain pedal' placed before an already overdriven amp to add the tone character of the Deluxe Reverb.
