The BOSS DD-7 Digital Delay Pedal is the most recent addition to a great line of compact delay pedals. Combining the best features from its predecessors with new and innovative delay options, the DD-7 helps creativity go wild. Expanded delay time, analog delay, and tap tempo delay via an external footswitch, are just some of the features that make this pedal a blast to use. It also provides up to 40 seconds of sound on sound recording time, and the ability to control delay, feedback, and effect levels with a separate expression pedal. This is a fantastic compact delay pedal for the price. The BOSS DD-7 Digital Delay Pedal packs a versatile punch, and is a great add to any pedalboard.
The Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Nano is a compact digital reverb guitar pedal that is priced unbelievably low. The Holy Grail will make you a believer with its emulation of classic Spring reverb so faithful that even Dick Dale couldn't tell the difference. Next, get lost in the lush spaciousness of the Hall reverb and ask yourself, "how did they fit Notre Dame into such a small package?" Finally, reach enlightenment with the haunting Flerb. The Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Nano is as cool as it gets for the price.
The JHS Double Barrel Overdrive pedal is for the player who needs a versatile transparent overdrive at medium and light gain levels. You won’t find face melting distortion here but you will find overdrive with the character and stacking abilities to cover most any tonal need.
The left side is JHS' TS808 replica with improvements like a more usable tone control, more focused lows, better presence and warmer clipping. The right side is JHS' own Morning Glory. Transparent, discreet and open are what lurk inside this circuit.
When these two circuits are stacked, something magic happens. Tones that are original and fresh come with ease as well as added flexibility due to the “order switching” toggle that lets you decide what pedal comes first. If you're having problems getting the tones you want, just pick up the JHS Double Barrel Overdrive and see what happens!
This Keeley DS-1 Ultra Mod is Steve Vai's favorite pedal and it's easy to see why. It's the ultimate Keeley Seeing Eye Mod with extra goodies. The toggle switch allows you to select the Seeing Eye or Ultra mode. The Ultra mode increases the fidelity in high gain modes and increases the total volume a bit to be used as a front end on a high quality tube amp. We've found the differences between this and the standard Seeing Eye Mod to best be heard through say, a boutique amp like a Dr. Z MAZ 38 or a Bogner, a little more open and refined. Check out the difference for yourself and see why this Keeley DS-1 Ultra Mod takes the Boss DS-1 to a whole new level in this great video.
This MXR Micro Amp adds a preset amount of gain, using a single control. With a guitar, this lets you boost your signal for lead work, adjust between two different guitars with unmatched output (i.e., humbucker to single coils), or this MXR Micro Amp can supply a permanent boost in a long effects chain where signal drop off is a problem.
The Xotic Robotalk 2 sports two individual envelope filter channels. Each channel is independently voiced and can be preset for different playing styles; slow acoustic-like attack, percussive, and many more. Blend each channel together for additional tone, or use the internal dip switch to customize your sounds appropriately. The Xotic Robotalk 2 has a switchable input pad for accommodating both active and passive signals. Very cool!
This Keeley Looper is an incredibly small true-bypass looper box from Keeley Electronics! This little wonder is only 1 inch wide and 3 inches long, fits in the tightest of pedal boards and offer you a dramatic improvement in tone. Connect any effect to this unit that is "old school" and not true-bypass. In particular Vintage wahs, echos, phasers, fuzz face type pedals, etc., or even new effects that might have a weak bypass system. These elderly effects rob tone when they are off. Now you can make them truly bypassed when off with this little box. Works with or without power. When you add a DC supply to this unit, the two LEDs let you know if the loop is active or not. The Blue LED indicates your signal is passing through the vintage effect, the Red LED indicates true-bypass. The Keeley Looper, don't leave home without it!
The Electro-Harmonix Micro Pog Pedal is a polyphonic octave generator pedal and it can transform your sound in some truly amazing ways. Looking for a 12-string sound? How about the organ? Whether you're playing guitar or bass, you've got an incredible octave generator here. The Electro-Harmonix Micro Pog Pedal has an Octave Up, Sub Octave and Dry knob that work together in a combination of ways to tweak your sound to perfection. Very cool.
The Xotic RC Booster is an incredibly transparent boost pedal that delivers the sweetest natural gain. This makes any amp sound better. It seems to open everything up to the point of not wanting to turn it off. Many pros use this pedal at the end of their effects chain, restoring clarity and adding drive, and they never switch it off. This is not a full blown overdrive, though with the gain cranked, it delivers a nice warm edge.
"There are three pedals that never leave my pedalboard. My Ernie Ball Volume Pedal Jr., my Boss TU-2 and this sweet little number. It's the most transparent clean boost I've ever played through. Increasing the gain control adds just the right amount of grit to your sound that sounds totally tube-like. It actually sounds like real amp breakup. Plus, it's an incredible problem solver. Say you're playing a gig and the backline company gives you some random amp that you just can't seem to get a decent sound? Kick this little guy on...adjust accordingly, bass up?, treble down?...kick the gain up a bit and boom. You're in business. It can make the blandest amp shine." -Brian S., MSM Gearhead
The EQ controls on these units are amazing. The highs are always pleasing and never spiky sounding and the low end control is really warm but never boomy. These controls can be used to tweak the sound of your set-up or to contour your amp to the room. There are a lot of our favorite players using the Xotic RC Booster as a main tool in their pedal boards and it's easy to see why. Check out the Xotic website for some great sound clips and interviews: www.prosoundcommunications.com

The second in the new Legend Series is the BOSS FDR-1. This pedal has a responsive and distinctive snappy overdriven sound. In conjunction with Fender, BOSS designed this stompbox to recreate the legendary tone of the 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb amp. Features include the same controls on the original Deluxe Reverb: Level, Gain, Treble, Bass, Vibrato and Reverb. The BOSS FDR-1 also functions perfectly as a 'pre-gain pedal' placed before an already overdriven amp to add the tone character of the Deluxe Reverb.
