This new Bart Reiter Buckbee Banjo is an homage to the famous Buckbee banjos that were sold all over the country during the late 19th century. This is a great banjo and gives you not only a cool classic player, but a heck of a lot of banjo for the price. This has an 11" Maple rim stained Cherry, a rolled brass tone ring, a two piece Cherry neck, bone nut, Planetary tuners, a geared 5th, frailing scoop and more.
It has really cool, very minimalist guitar-style headstock with an Ebony overlay and is a great player with a 1 1/4" nutwidth, 17 nickel silver frets and a Five Star frosted head. The Cherry neck on this seems a little chunkier than a standard and it's a lot of fun to play. Case not included with this Bart Reiter Buckbee Banjo but hard case or gig bag for just a bit more.
One of our favorites, this Bart Reiter Galax Banjo banjo has an Elite 11" diameter head, Whyte Laydie tone ring, and a traditional neck contour. The Maple rim has a nice, rich dark stain, and the sound is bright and old timey. This Galax has a really good volume and is great for many styles of banjo playing. Excellent build quality, wonderful playability. Hard case available for $125. Free set up from one of our luthiers is included with this Bart Reiter Galax Banjo.
This is a really nice Bart Reiter Round Peak open back banjo - a great player with a wonderful sound. This has a 12-inch diameter rim (Bart Reiter's only 12-inch) with a rolled brass tone hoop and an Elite Renaissance head. This a 26 3/16-inch scale with 26 brackets. The neck is Mahogany with Five Star planetary tuning pegs, an adjustable truss rod, and an Ebony fretboard, which is scooped above the 17th fret. There is a pearl star inlay on the Ebony peghead overlay on this Bart Reiter Round Peak as well. Hard case available for $125.
This used Bart Reiter Galax Open Back Banjo is in Excellent Plus condition and ready to play. With upgraded tuners (see photos), it has an Elite 11" diameter head with a Whyte Laydie tone ring under the hood. Its Mahogany neck has a traditional neck contour, with a scooped Ebony fingerboard. The Maple rim has a nice, medium dark stain, and the sound is bright and old timey. This Galax has a really good volume and is great for many styles of banjo playing. This Bart Reiter Standard Open Back Banjo sports incredible build quality and a no-frills appearance that means business. This has a wonderful, warm tone and the rolled brass tone ring gives it a little extra volume and punch.
The neck here is Mahogany with an Ebony fretboard, and a bone nut. This is a 26 1/4" scale length banjo and features a traditional peghead and a scooped neck - plus it comes with a full set up from one of our luthiers. Case not included, but add on a Banjo hard case for just a bit more.
This used Bart Reiter Special Banjo is in Excellent condition. An 11" open back, it has a 3-ply laminated Maple rim with a beautiful Rosewood cap and a rolled brass tone ring. Its construction makes for just the right amount of bright without being too brassy, and it has a very balanced, rich sound. Great playability, it has a Hard Maple neck with a traditional contour, and a Maple dowel stick. A Pearl Star inlay on its Ebony peghead veneer makes for the perfect embellishment with its simple appearance. With a no-knot tailpiece, planetary tuners, and a notched tension hoop, this Bart Reiter Special Banjo comes with the original hard case. $800. Consignment item. Sorry, shipping not included. This open back Bart Reiter Regent banjo has a nice, natural finish Maple rim and neck with an Ebony fretboard. This is a 22 fret banjo with no scoop and has a great, old-timey sound. Waverly tailpiece, Whyte Laydie tone ring - 11" diameter - really nice build. This Bart Reiter Regent banjo comes with a hard case as well.
This Bart Reiter Standard Banjo with scoop is a bargain for the money. It has a rolled brass tone ring, an ebony fingerboard, and a peghead veneer. The banjo has a Mahogany neck - stained brown, dot position markers, and a pearl star in the peghead. This Bart Reiter Standard Banjo is a great banjo at a great price.
