This Germino Lead 55LV head and 212 cab is a great opportunity to get one of the most killer amps ever at a real savings. This is super clean, and in Excellent Plus Condition. The Lead 55 head was pre-LV, but the owner took it back to Greg Germino who modded it perfectly to his newer LV specs. Together with the 212 cab, which is loaded with 2 Celestion G12M Greenback speakers, this amp takes top spot as one of our absolute favorites.
It's a super tight and incredible sounding amp that takes you easily from a slightly crunchy clean to a thick smooth lead, with a simple turn of the volume knob. Classic dual EL-34 output, and same lead circuit as the 1968/69 plexi 1987 model at its pinnacle. The cab comes with optional closed panel as well as the open back. Designed with the Style II 'Bluesbreaker' look in mind, this Germino 212 Bolero Cab looks fantastic and is built to last. With a rare Bolero covering, it's made with Baltic Birch ply, tough finger-jointed corners, and steel hardware - tough stuff. Loaded with two 12" Celestion Greenbacks, it sounds incredible. The grille cloth even comes from England from the original supplier that Marshall used in the late 60s and early 70s. A great value, this Germino 212 Bolero Cab is the perfect partner to the Lead 55LV Bolero Head.

Incredibly rare, this Germino Lead 55LV Bolero Head is a beauty. Dial up everything from powerful clean tones, to fat EL-34 overdriven sounds with a classic British crunch - this head can deliver the goods live or in the studio. Housing ARS EL-34s and Tung Sol 12AX7s, its lead circuit is the same as a JMP-50, and man does it sound fantastic. Here with a hard-to-come-by Bolero covering.
At 50 watts and lower filtering this is a very gigable amp in small to medium rooms. It is built to last, with a spot-welded aluminum chassis and a hand drilled tag board. It has carbon film and NOS carbon comp resistors, 2 watt Mil spec PEC potentiometers, period correct round black bat switches from the UK, and BCR and F&T filter capacitors. Sozo brand "mustard" coupling caps finish off this all hand-wired and perfectly assembled amplifier. Unbeatable sound. This Germino Lead 55LV Bolero Head will not disappoint.

This Germino Club 40 1x12 Combo is a rock machine. Hand-built by Greg Germino (the authority on vintage Marshalls), this amp recreates the tones of the old JTM-50 and JMP-50 Bass amplifiers. Precise selection of custom wound transformers, chassis materials, and capacitors, along with Greg's superb hand-wired craftsmanship, replicate the classic Marshall tones perfectly.
When running the GZ-34 tube rectifier (selectable via internal switch), this amp is just like the JTM-50, with large clear tones moving to bold crunch. In the SS rectifier, the sounds of a 1986 JMP-50 model are yours, with a quicker response to your pick attack and a tighter punch. Loaded with a Celestion Heritage G12-65 Speaker, this amp is very responsive to your guitar's volume knob, and feels wonderful sitting in that semi-clean, semi-distorted zone. Carbon film resistors, Sozo Vintage "Mustard" film/foil caps, hand-wired turret board, NOS cinch tube, and Amphenol tube sockets. There's also a rear panel voltage selector for its power transformer, and 4,8, and 16 Ohm speaker outputs. A versatile beast, this Germino Club 40 1x12 Combo is fantastic. This Germino 212 Cab is one of favorites - loaded with Celestion Greenbacks (reissue 25 watt Greenback G12M at 97 db efficiency). Killer construction - this is made from Baltic Birch ply, including the baffle board and back panel and includes tough finger-jointed corners. One of Greg's sharpest designs, with white piping and the grill cloth. Hands down, one of the best.

This Germino Classic 45 LV 112 Combo is the latest masterpiece from Greg's mad lab and I must say...it's won me over. There is something magical about this 1x12 combo format, just like the Club 40 1x12 we had. Greg has changed things up right out of the gate on this particular amp, opting for a pair of 6L6 power tubes instead of KT-66s. Another point of interest is the speaker chosen. This guy has a G12H30 instead of a Greenback. All of these things combined make this amp extremely versatile! The 6L6s offer more of a throatier, almost Fender-ish richness and clarity. Neck pickup on a Strat sounds very full with a ton of bloom! The G12H30 also brings more presence and bite to the table. I'm convinced that this amp would shine in pretty much any setting. Humbuckers through this amp remain tough, with that classic Marshall womp you'd expect, but there is a nice amount of chime and bloom that makes you think of American based amps. I give this a 10 out of 10. I love it! - Brian S.
