It’s been a while since we’ve had a proper news post here on the ol’ Mass Street blog but things have been busy! Prepping, and then decompressing, for the Walnut Valley Festival always makes September an interesting month. Even with the flood related chaos it was so wonderful to catch up with some of our favorite people, customers and performers…some of which are both! We picked up a few vintage pieces as well, so give us a call if that’s your thing.

It was so great to get a chance to meet Presley Barker, one of the young flat-picking-phenoms at the festival. He and Jim could have talked about D-18s all day long!
It wouldn’t be Winfield without catching up with Steve Kaufman! Check out his schedule of camps for next year.
Always great catching up with Byron of the Byron Berline band. Jim’s going to be doing some work this fall on that gorgeous vintage Gibson.
Last, but certainly not least it was a joy to help a couple of Kansas natives pick out their new Collings CJ-35. Congrats to the Vogts Sisters on the new guitar!
