Josh Baldridge – Tom Anderson Electric Guitars - Raven Classic Shorty - Surf Green
Can't beat the quality and attention to detail from the crew over at Anderson. This Surf Green Raven is loaded with a quiet P90 in the neck and a Humbucker in the bridge for tons of tonal variations.

Check out our collection of Anderson Guitars!
Jim Baggett – Martin Acoustic Guitars - 1937 D-18
Pre-war, wide neck, advanced X braced D-18s are so rare it's a real treat to have this one in the store. With the artfully repaired volume and tone holes in the top it actually makes this one a bargain.

Our Vintage inventory is always changing - head on over to view the latest in our Vintage Collection!
Eric Putnam – Fender Electric Guitars - Classic '69 Telecaster - Blue Flower
This guitar has everything a good Tele should have. A big fat neck, an ashtray bridge, and plenty of twang. It also has a finish that will make you want to get in your flower power bus drive to your nearest hippy cowboy tailor. If you are not into spacemanhippycowboy madness, you can at least appreciate that this guitar will go with any stylish Hawaiian shirt you may be wearing at your neighbors annual summer bbq. Make all of your neighbors jealous of your jaw dropping country/jazz/hillbilly rock n roll licks, or at least of your stylish shirt/guitar combo!

Here are the latest Instruments to hit the website!
Matt Pelsma – Electro-Harmonix - Canyon Delay & Looper
You can never have too many delays, but this might be the only one you will ever need. For a multipurpose delay, this pedal has a small footprint at a great price. Also, it sounds great!

Check out our current collection of Effects Pedals.
Brian Soden – Xact Tone Solutions - Atomic Overdrive
Although this unit covers mild to moderate overdrive tones beautifully, don't let the word "overdrive" fool you. It can cross over into VH distortion territory, easily! The EQ section is very powerful and allows you to dial in a great tone no matter what amp you plug into. That feature makes it a perfect grab-n-go drive pedal for any gig or recording session where amps are rented or already provided. Sign me up!

Check out our expanding Overdrive lineup
Mike Horan – Gibson - 1959 SJN "Country Western" Jumbo Used
If you need an awesome guitar to backup your Hank Williams/Jimmy Martin vocal, this is it! An open E chord as big and wide as the American Dream...

Our new, used and vintage inventory is always changing check it out
Matt Harmon – Wren and Cuff Effect Pedals - Eye See Pi Small Foot Fuzz
This pedal is my time portal back to the early 90's when my friend Justin introduced me to the Smashing Pumpkins new record Siamese Dream. It totally kills Corgan's Big Muff tone, there are so many great tunes on that record. Riff-a-way!

One of the many great Pedals here at the shop!
Trey Durkin – K&K Acoustic Pickups - Pure Mini Pickup
We install a lot of pickups in the Repair Shop, and this simple system may be my favorite. It sounds very true to the acoustic tone of your instrument and passive construction means no dealing with 9-volt batteries. Sounds great on it's own, but when combined with the K&K pre-amp it really comes to life. An optional sound hole volume control is also available.

One of most popular pickup options here in the shop!
Susan Willits -
Gretsch Acoustic Guitars - G9511 Style 1 Single-O Parlor
I really like the new Gretsch Parlor guitars. This is a nice guitar for a good price with a solid spruce top and comes with an Appalachia Cloudburst finish, which may vary slightly between guitars of course. The one we have in the store now has a beautiful finish!

Check out all of the great Gretsch gear that we currently have in-stock.
Matt Kappenman – Leo Posch Acoustic Guitars - AJ
Moody, dark, powerful guitar ready to pull all sorts of angsty songs right out of you. Fantastic build from local luthier Leo Posch. Don't miss our upcoming Meet the Builder event with Leo on June 10th!

Josh Baldridge – Waterloo by Collings - WL-12
I was really looking forward to the arrival of this guitar and now I can say that it was worth the wait. I love that it has such a distinct voice. Every time I sit with it I find that I approach songs a little differently and that always brings a smile to my face.

Check out our collection of Waterloo Guitars!
Jim Baggett – Collings Acoustic Guitars - D1 Traditional T Series - Baked
The Traditional line from Collings has really nailed the vintage Pre-war neck profile in a modern guitar. This D1 is no different. Great responsiveness from the baked top, and plenty of focused mahogany projection.

Our Collings inventory is always changing - head on over to view the latest in our Collings Collection!
Eric Putnam – Fender Amps - 1955 Tweed Deluxe Used
Awesome Neal Young-y vibe. Tons of breakup and touch sensitivity.

Here are the latest Vintage Instruments to hit the website!
Matt Pelsma – Fender - CD-60S - Mahogany
This guitar sounds great and plays amazingly well. I highly recommend it for beginners, or as a second dreadnought strummer for your acoustic arsenal.

Check out our current collection of Acoustic Guitars.
Brian Soden – Tom Anderson Electric Guitars - Drop Top Classic - Sweet and Sour Red
One of my favorite Nashville guitarists and Tom Anderson player, Michael Britt, tours with only a handful of guitars. The centerpieces of his guitar stable are two Tom Anderson electrics. This particular Drop Top Classic is one of the absolute best when it comes to versatility and craftsmanship and will prove to be a roadworthy partner for you. Stainless steel frets are one of my favorite features making fret wear virtually non-existent. Treat yourself to this beautiful tone machine!

Josh Baldridge – Fender - 2017 American Professional Telecaster - Butterscotch Blonde
Super cool that Fender is building an American made Blackguard Butterscotch Tele as a standard model again. Previously it was only offered as a vintage model. The wood grain on the particular guitar we have in is fantastic.

Check out our collection of Fender American Professional guitars!
Jim Baggett – Collings Acoustic Guitars - OM1A Cutaway
Extremely versatile guitar, great for finger style players but plenty of headroom for flatpicking thanks to the Adirondack top.

Our Collings inventory is always changing - head on over to view the latest in our Collings Collection!
Eric Putnam – Tom Anderson Electric Guitars - T Classic Shorty Hollow - Blonde
My favorite guitar in the shop at the moment. Its one of those great guitars that makes you go to different musical places. Great player!

Here are the latest Boutique Electrics to hit the website!
Matt Pelsma – Martin Acoustic Guitars - 1963 00-21 Used
This guitar is billed as a great finger style playing instrument, but I think this thing really sings with a pick. This guitar carries a strong vintage tone that could rival a guitar twice it's age.

Check out our current collection of Vintage Instruments.
Jade Rowland – Eastman Acoustic Guitars - E20SS
This solid rosewood slope shoulder dreadnought is lovely to play, It sounds loud and full when strummed and every note played finger style has some weight behind it. Its specs and sound far exceed what the price would suggest.

Matt Pelsma – Fender Custom Shop - Postmodern Strat Journeyman Relic RW - 3 Tone Burst
This is one of the best strats I have ever played. It is just as fluid and fun to play as any Anderson or Don Grosh. And the finish is super comfortable. A next level strat.

Check out our current collection of Boutique Electrics.
Jade Rowland – Fender Electric Guitars - 2017 American Professional Jazzmaster - Mystic Seafoam
This is a guitar that plays as awesome as it looks. The revoiced v-mod pickups have a unique clarity to them that sounds balanced playing clean or dirty tones. The mystic sea foam finish is absolutely stunning in person.

Check out our expanding 2017 Fender American lineup
Mike Horan – Collings Acoustic Guitars - 1996 D1A V Used
??????"

One of many great Collings currently in stock
Matt Harmon – Xotic Effect Pedals - SL Drive
As my quest continues to make the perfect practice/travel rig I came across this drive pedal. Its perfect for the smaller grab and go travel board but has the sound and tone of the full blown Marshall drive that we all know and love. This drive also makes my list because its simple, once you set your volume to your desired amp you have Drive (Gain) and Tone. It even has dip switches in the pedal to change what Marshall style amp your going after. I left it on default because you can't go wrong with a Jimmy Page Heartbreaker sound.

Eric Putnam – Strymon Effect Pedals - El Capistan
With all of the new exciting delay pedals coming out it can be easy to overlook some of the old favorites. The El Cap is just a great sounding tape voiced delay that can be as simple, or complex as you would like. One of the easiest delays to get a good sound out of, and has become my main delay pedal.

Here are the latest Effects Pedals to hit the website!
Matt Pelsma – Martin Acoustic Guitars - 2004 D-28 Marquis Used
This is a great, vintage feeling and sounding guitar with a lot of life in it. Very dynamic and warm without being too rich for a rosewood guitar. A stellar piece that was played well and that needs some more use!

Check out our current collection of Used Gear.
Jade Rowland – Planet Waves - Tri-Action Guitar Capo
The ability to adjust the tension, and move it around the neck very quickly makes this capo great for performing and won't pull your guitar out of tune.

There are tons of accessories on our website, and even more in the shop!
Mike Horan – Tom Anderson Electric Guitars - T Classic Shorty Hollow - Translucent Butterscotch
Hey, this is just like my guitar! It's true---I own only one electric, and it's an Anderson Hollow T Classic with this finish. I wasn't even planning on buying an electric that day, but it was, as they say, love at first sight.

Can't beat a personal endorsement from Store/Repair Manager Mike Horan!
Matt Harmon – Emerson Prewired Tele 3-way Kit
Hearing is believing, after a few customers had brought me these kits to install I quickly realized that these parts are the real deal. Complete control over your pickups from 1-10 on the volume and tone controls. This tele kit is the easiest of the kits to install if you're a do it your selfer. Click to buy, install it and you will not regret it. Or have us install it for you! Chances are you'll be putting them in all of your guitars.

Josh Baldridge – Gibson Banjos - 2001 Earl Scruggs Standard Mastertone Resonator Banjo Used
With Gibson no longer making new banjos, it is especially cool to get a Scruggs model in the door. This banjo is everything a bluegrass banjo player needs, except for a few fingerpicks.

Check out our current collection of banjos!
Jim Baggett – Collings Acoustic Guitars - D2H MR A Traditional T Series
A really fine example of the Rosewood Traditional models from Collings.

Our Collings inventory is always changing - head on over to view the latest Collings Traditional Collection!
Eric Putnam – Greer Amps - Black Fuzz
I am really enjoying pedals with a single knob lately. The lack of options on this pedal is what makes it work so well. There are a lot of sounds in this pedal depending on where you have the volume set, and I've it to be very responsive with the volume control. It worked well with a clean amp, but it was almost an overdrive with the amp set clean. When combined with an amp that is already breaking up it sounds huge! The tone was bright enough to sound good with humbuckers, but not so bright that it doesn't work with single coils. Great fuzz for people who find other fuzzes uncontrollable.

We've been stocking up on Greer Amps pedals - check out our current collection!
Matt Pelsma – Fender Electric Guitars - 2017 American Professional Stratocaster - Sonic Grey
I grew up playing a Strat with a Maple neck, and this guitar reminds me why I loved it. The feel, the look, and the sound is really very addictive. Also, the minty, aged coffee dipped knobs and pickup covers were exactly what I wanted, but it wasn't around 15 years ago, unless you were lucky enough to find a vintage piece.

These new for 2017 Fender American Professionals are a hit here in the shop!
Jade Rowland – Eastman Acoustic Guitars - E20P-SB
It's a little guitar that sounds much bigger than its size. It has a well rounded low end, and a vibrant and dynamic response.

We've stocked up on Eastman for the season - stop by the store to check out our current inventory!
Mike Horan – Collings Acoustic Guitars - OM1 Traditional T Series - Baked
This OM-1 T is a pure joy to play. I was blown away by the sustain and depth of tone on the treble strings. One of the best-balanced guitars I've played, period.

We recently recorded a demo with this OM1 - give it a listen!
Matt Harmon – Gibson Acoustic Guitars - 1936 L50 Archtop
Vintage guitars are where its at. This one isn't the most expensive or the most collectable but it sits in just the right price range if you enjoy the craftsmanship and sound of older guitars.

Trey Durkin – Weber Mandolins - 2010 Vintage F Mandolin Oval Hole Used
Great full rich tone, with plenty of bottom end. Beautifully constructed, with great grain in the maple, and a lovely red sunburst. Whether you are playing chords, or melody, this has a nice balanced tone.

We have a great bunch of Used Mandolins in the store right now.
Susan Willits - Gibson Mandolins - 1923 A-Jr. Used
This 1923 Gibson A-Jr. mandolin is a nice little instrument at a great price! No frills, but it sounds lovely. It's in really good condition and comes with a hard shell case.

Check out all the Mandolins we currently have in-stock.
Matt Kappenman – Fender Basses - 2017 American Professional Precision Bass - Sunburst
I typically lean more towards a Jazz Bass, but this new American Pro has a super comfy neck that I really enjoy playing. Feels great when playing finger-style or with a pick.

Eric Putnam – Waterloo by Collings - WL-S L T-Bar Sunburst
All of the Waterloo guitars that I've seen have been great, but I particularly enjoyed the WL-S. For a small guitar it is incredibly resonant, and although it sounds great fingerpicked it still holds up with a pick. Really fun and surprisingly versatile guitar!

Here are the latest Waterloo models to hit the website!
Matt Pelsma – Collings Mandolins - 2007 MF Used
This mandolin feels remarkable and has a brilliant and even tone. No wonder as it's a Collings! Very light wear will make you want to cherish this MF like the previous owner. Lots of playing left to be had in this instrument!

This used MF is a store favorite right now - Susan picked it this month as well!
Jade Rowland – Fender Amps - Pro Junior III
This month's pick comes from personal experience as I own this one. It's a small, light, 15-watt tube amp that's powerful enough to keep up with a band. It's easy for me to carry around, and it handles my pedals beautifully. It breaks up nicely too.

New, used and vintage amps aplenty - check out all of our Fender Amps!
Mike Horan – Leo Posch Acoustic Guitars - D-M
I've played a lot of Leo's dreadnoughts since he first started making them, and this just may be the best one yet. A powerhouse of a guitar, it manages to remain well-balanced in spite of its incredible output. It receives my Bluegrass Seal of Approval!

We're all big fans of local luthier Leo Posch's acoustic guitars!
Matt Harmon – Gretsch Electric Guitars - G5422T Electromatic - Orange Stain
Every time I walk by this guitar the great looking orange finish catches my eye. If you've been looking for a Gretsch style guitar but don't want to spend over $2000 the Electromatic series is the way to go.

So many great, affordable electric options from our friends at Gretsch
Trey Durkin – Gretsch Banjos - G9455 Dixie Special Open-Back w/ Scoop
Great Clawhammer tone, with plenty of room to dig in with the frailing scoop. The deeper rim adds resonance and volume, which will help you be heard in a jam. Great for beginners and pros alike.

One of many great open-back banjos including Bart Reiter, Ramsey and OME!
Susan Willits - Collings Mandolins - 2007 MF Used
This used 2007 Collings MF is amazing! It has a wonderfully punchy, warm sound with a growly low end that I absolutely love. Clear note distinction. There's no muddy sound here. I can't say enough about the tone of this mando! To top it off it's extremely clean and comes with a hard case. If you're looking for a top quality mandolin with killer tone this is it!

Check out all the Mandolins we currently have in-stock.
Matt Kappenman – Taylor Acoustic Guitars - 814ce DLX

Matt Pelsma – Taylor Acoustic Guitars - 2012 Custom TF Sinker Redwood Used
It's simple and classic, but just alluringly different enough to make you double take at the sight of the redwood top. Also the sound is rich and has all the detail at low volumes one would want to share in close quarters. It's a steal of a price for a custom order guitar!

Matt Harmon – TC Electronic - Polytune Clip
This is a great tuner, I use it every day in the shop tuning up guitars and checking intonation on acoustic instruments. Super accurate.

This tuner has caught fire with the staff! More than one staff members picked it, but Matt H had dibs.
Trey Durkin – Martin Acoustic Guitars - 2009 Custom 000-15 s

The Crema Wheat is a fantastic little amp. I really like the way this amp takes pedals when set clean or on the edge of breakup.
