This used Collings Acoustic Guitars - 2008 CW Mh A Winfield Prize is a unique CW from the folks at Collings. This CW is highlighted by the custom wheat peghead inlay, found only on the Walnut Valley National Flat Pick Guitar Championship prize guitars. Featuring an Adirondack Spruce top paired with Mahogany back and sides, this dread is an absolute flat picking canon. Here in Excellent condition this CW includes the original Collings hardshell case.
  • Dreadnought with Pre-War scalloped Adirondack bracing and no tongue brace
  • Select Adirondack Spruce top with large soundhole, Black/White Wood Nitrate rosette, and Dalmation-style celluloid pickguard
  • Mahogany back and sides with tortoise-style binding, Black/White wood purfling and 1-style Walnut backstrip
  • 25 1/2" scale length
  • Mahogany neck with with Modified V (CW) profile
  • Ebony fingerboard with 14" - 26" compound radius, 20 Medium 18% nickel-silver frets
  • Custom "Winfield" Peghead Inlay
  • .100" Tortoise fingerboard binding with b/w purfling 
  • 1 23/32" nut width, bone
  • Bone cut-through saddle with 2 1/4" string spacing
  • Ebony belly-style bridge
  • Nickel Waverly tuners with 16:1 ratio
