This used Collings Guitars - 2010 D1 A Sunburst Varnish is a classic dreadnought with high end appointments. Featuring an upgraded Adirondack Spruce top paired with Mahogany back and sides, this D1 includes a varnish finish for that vintage look right out of the case. This Adi top has been played in and is open and responsive, without much wear aside from a few finish dents and swirling to the body. There is some swirling and light scuffing to the headstock, probably caused by a clip on tuner. There is evidence of finish checking on the heel as well. Here in Very Good condition, this D1 A includes the original hardshell case.
  • Dreadnought with Varnish 1-Style Sunburst Finish and Tortoise-style binding
  • Adirondack Spruce top with Tortoise-style pickguard and no tongue brace
  • Mahogany back and sides with 1-style Walnut backstrip
  • 25 1/2" scale length
  • Mahogany neck with Modified V profile and Lacquer neck finish
  • Ebony fingerboard with 20 Medium 18% nickel-silver frets and Long D&S inlays
  • 1 23/32" nut width, bone
  • Bone drop-in saddle with 2 3/16" string spacing
  • Ebony belly-style bridge
  • Flourish Peghead Inlay
