The Zvex Effects - Box of Rock Vexter simulates a 1966 Marshall JTM45 turned up to 10. A classic sound for sure, this pedal nails the tone in a very usable way that plays nicely with all tube amps. "Tone" adjusts the brightness to the player's taste; this is especially useful to accommodate single coil pickups or humbuckers. Creamy sustain and just the right amount of hair-raising grit comes standard when clicking this thing on. Add in a high-headroom boost and this pedal has most distortion/overdrive tones covered.
