The JHS Effect Pedals - VCR is the much anticipated collaboration between JHS pedals and the nostalgia-head himself, Ryan Adams. This box has three separate effects that run perfectly together to capture tones from The Smiths, "August" era Clapton or Tear for Fears. Toggle any of the three effects on or off and the distinct color LEDs to let you know which effects are up and running. A fixed depth hall Reverb sounds deep and warm and remarkably in fashion with any electric guitar amp. The 80's voiced Chorus sounds lush and tame-able without too many frills. The Volume section really can drive an amp hard, and carries with it the desired grit to make the two other effects sound genuine. Add to it the through-back look, knob spacing and included lore, this pedal literally gives you time travel responsibilities.
