The Walrus Audio - ARP-87 Delay is a compact delay full of useful features. Four main delay types are selectable: digital, analog, lo-fi, and slap-back. Digital is great for crispy, rhythmic repeats. Analog is nice and warm in a predictable bucket-brigade fashion with the "X" knob dialing in modulation. Lo-Fi used the same knob to adjust the frequency sweep from warm and warble-y to straight transistor radio sounding. Slap-Back will dial in just the right amount of repeats to add space for your quick room sound or chicken-pickin'. Trails can be turned on or off, and the tap button can be used to as a momentary swell repeat even when the pedal is off. Here is a delay pedal very useful for the adventurous and conservative player alike.
