This is a classic mid-rangy humbucker perfectly suited for clean tones with just a little volume roll off, but at full volume it has a nice amount of drive and dirt. In a solid-body guitar this is perfect for all kinds of rock music. In a hollow-body this nails that Creedence Clearwater Revival sound. The Alnico V magnet gives just the right amount of clarity to the neck position and adds some fullness to the bridge.
