Check out this Collings video that gives you a unique look behind-the-scenes of this master builder's company.
Our relationship with Bill Collings, both professionally and personally, began with us becoming one of the first dealers for his acoustic guitars and 2013 continues our unique relationship with them - our own Jim Baggett collaborated with Bill Collings on their new CJ35 guitars. We are proud to be a Collings dealer, and we are known for having the best selection in the country.
We frequently field questions about the great necks on Collings and thought we'd post more info here on Collings Neck Profiles. As always, feel free to give us a ring or send an email for more information.

This beautiful Collings OM2H VN Custom has great response, exceptional clarity, and a warm, balanced tone with real presence. The OM size, tone and articulation here make it great for so many playing styles too. As always, Collings' craftsmanship is unmatched here. The top is Sitka Spruce paired with Rosewood back and sides, and Adirondack bracing. This Custom has no tongue brace for added resonance and sustain, and a 'Vintage Now' neck with slightly wider than standard spacing at the saddle (2 1/4") with 1 3/4" at the nut. It's larger than a standard neck but not as large as classic vintage Martin necks. With its OM shape and a body depth of just over 4", this guitar is comfortable to play in any situation, be it on stage or sitting at home. Traditional diamond and square fretboard inlays, nickel Waverly tuners, and an Ebony bridge and fingerboard. Comes with a hard case.

This Collings CW Clarence White acoustic will blow you away. Built in '95, this is one of the original CW acoustics built exclusively for John Holman. It has been extremely well taken care of, and is in Excellent Plus/Near Mint condition. The Brazilian Rosewood was not graded on these early guitars, but this is as perfect as Brazilian gets, AAA+. Its Adirondack top is medium to wide grain - an exceptional example. It has a fossilized ivory nut and saddle (see photos), and the peghead overlay is a distinct, dark Ebony. This is truly a fantastic guitar with looks to match. The large soundhole, perfect wood selection, and comfortable neck and action make this a guitar that begs to be played while its power and tone will keep you coming back for more. This Collings CW Clarence White is as good as it gets. This CW comes with a Mint condition Mark Leaf case. Serial #1736.

This used Collings 0002H is a beauty. With the same width and depth as an OM, but a slightly longer body and string scale, it has a very powerful bass response and great overall volume. It has a Sitka Spruce top, East Indian Rosewood back and sides, and is loaded with Fishman Matrix electronics, making it ready for the stage. Appointments include ivoroid binding, herringbone trim with a matching backstrip, a pyramid bridge, and a slotted headstock. In Very Good condition, it does have some playwear, including a few nicks and scratches in the finish on the top (see photo). This Collings 0002H comes with its original hard case. (Case is missing one latch.)
This Collings CJ MhA SS SB Custom guitar is an absolute beauty and a prototype of the new Collings CJ35. It has a gorgeous Adirondack top with a stunning sunburst finish, all set off by a tiger striped pickguard. This guitar really sings - great volume, punch, and clarity. Stunning Wenge fretboard and bridge with through saddle too. Serial# 20627.

This used Collings OM1A Cutaway is exceptional. Here with a smooth cutaway, it's a fingerstyle players dream, but sounds great for rhythm as well. It has a small nick in the headstock (see photo) but is otherwise in Excellent condition, has been well taken care of, and is ready for years of use. Its simple aesthetic is highlighted by a tortoise-style binding accentuating its straight-grained Adirondack Spruce top. It has Mahogany back and sides, an Ebony bridge with Bone saddle, and an Ebony fretboard. With a well-rounded tone and rich sustain, this Collings OM1A Cutaway will not disappoint. Comes with its original hard case.
