TheåÊCatalinbread Formula No. 5åÊpedal was inspired old tweed amps, particularly the classic Fender 5e3 famous from the 1940s and '50s. Capable of delivering gentle clean tones, or the ferocity of Neil Young, the Gain control really offers a lot of tonal options with the assistance of its Tone and Volume controls. Where the 5e3 was inefficient, this really picks up and takes off when needed. While it's fairly tone-specific, theåÊCatalinbread Formula No. 5åÊhas a lot to offer in regards to overdrive, and once you get it down, you'll be ready to live it up.
