Collings Acoustic Guitars - 01SB

To say the Collings 01SB, serial# 23164, is another amazing acoustic in a long line of amazing Collings guitars is an understatement. It's honest, though - this is an incredible instrument, across the board. Next to the Baby, this is Collings' smallest guitar, but don't let that fool you: Measuring only 13.5" wide, it's smaller than a traditional classical guitar, yet still manages to deliver the tone, volume and versatility of its larger siblings.

Made with a Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back, sides and neck, the 01SB is beautifully constructed and infinitely playable. This has a 24 7/8" scale, a generous 1 3/4" nutwidth with 2 3/16" string spacing and a modified V neck profile. Of course ever detail here is perfect, from the Ebony belly style bridge to the nickel Waverly tuners and tortoise style pickguard. While the law of averages suggests Collings will eventually make an imperfect guitar, we're not so sure of that, especially after playing this Collings 01SB. Includes hardshell case and setup from our luthiers.
