This used Don Grosh Retro Classic with a gorgeous two-tone Tobacco Burst finish is an absolute killer guitar at a great price. This 7 lb., 4 oz. beauty has an Alder body and one-piece Maple neck/fingerboard, with a comfortable Medium/Large Roundback neck shape that's meant to be played. It has 21 Tall/Narrow (6105) frets, a 1 5/8" nut, and a 10" radius that feels simply perfect. Equipped with three Grosh 60s Fat single coil pickups (with a baseplate for the bridge pickup), it's great for players desiring some extra "push" when going into overdrive, while maintaining all the characteristics of the 60s Vintage - firm lows, rich mids, and clear highs - but with some additional thickness not usually found in single coils.
Here in Very Good condition, it has a few nicks and play wear, most noticeably two nicks near the bottom edge, along with a small chip in the lacquer at the 7th fret (see photos). It plays beautifully, sounds amazing and the frets are in great shape - this guitar has many more gigs ahead. The Don Grosh Retro Classic is a stellar guitar at a killer price. Includes original hardshell case.
