Local Lawrence, Kansas pickup only. This used, vintage Fender 1966 Super Reverb tube amplifier is a rocking beast with a new lease on life thanks to amp guru Jeff Gehring. Here in Very Good condition, it works beautifully and sounds simply amazing. It has a handful of replacements and repairs, expertly done by Gehring and it delivers that unforgettable vintage Fender tone in spades. In this Super Reverb are four 10" Fender Special Design speakers at 2 ohms capable of delivering 40 watts of power. It has built-in Reverb and Tremolo effects with two inputs for the Normal channel and another two for the Tremolo channel. The Normal channel also features a Bright switch and Volume, Treble and Bass knobs; while the Vibrato channel has a Bright Switch and Volume, Treble, Mid, Bass, Reverb, Speed, and Intensity knobs. 

The original filter caps were replaced and the tubes previously installed tubes (Hitachi 6L6G) have now been replaced with Tung Sol reissue 6L6GCs. All of the electrolytic caps (main filters, bias filter, cathode bypass caps) have been replaced with new Sprague Atorn types, and the original 2-conductor AC cord has been upgraded with a grounded 3-conductor cord. The 12AT7 reverb driver tube has been replaced. The reverb driver transformer is not original - it was installed from a previous repair - but functions just fine. Additionally, all of the pots, jacks and sockets have been thoroughly cleaned. 

Newly restored, this Fender 1966 Super Reverb tube amp is in Very Good condition, sounds incredible, and has a long rocking life ahead.
