The Franzke A5 Mandolin features high end materials and build quality for an extraordinarily great sounding and smooth playing A-style mando. Here with an Adirondack Spruce top, it has Flamed Maple back, sides, and neck, as well as an Ebony fingerboard and headstock cap. Bound entirely with Ivoroid, its dark burst finish is complemented with a Franzke-engraved gold tailpiece and gold hardware. A nice singing tone and inviting player, it's handcrafted here in Kansas by builder Mark Franzke.

It has a standard 13 7/8" scale length and a 1 1/8" nut width. A genuine looker, definitely, it's also an incredible player with a superb tone, clarity and projection. This Franzke A5 Mandolin is fantastic in every aspect, and comes with a hardshell case and full setup from our luthiers.
