Gibson Electric Guitars - 1971 Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop

This used Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop is easily one of the most playable vintage guitars we've had in the shop - and we've had a heckuva lot of good ones. It's a hefty 10 lb., 5 oz., but boy can it sing. Made with a four-ply Mahogany body and Maple top, it has that iconic Goldtop finish and cream binding and pickguard, and has developed some nice finish-checking throughout over the years to really add to its already impressive character.

The Rosewood fingerboard is nice and clean, and the three-piece Maple neck is one of the most comfortable ones we've had the chance to play. This has the standard 24 3/4" nut width and a wide 1.695" nut width, and, perhaps most noticeably, is equipped with a pair of mini-humbuckers as opposed to the standard PAFs. These give it a brighter, more cutting tone perfect for that '70s-era rock, especially when loaded up on overdrive and distortion. This Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop is in Very Good conditon with some minor dings, playwear, and finish checking, but it's all-original besides the tuners. Includes original hardshell case.
