Built with a Chambered Mahogany body with Maple top to make it lighter (7 lb, 13 oz) than other Les Pauls, it also has increased sustain and resonance. Additionally, it features the innovative asymmetrical neck—curved to fit more naturally in the hand—easily one of the most comfortable neck profiles on the market. As hard as it is to improve its flagship guitar, this Gibson 2008 Les Paul Standard Plus has the tweaks and modifications to put it a step ahead. Includes the original hard shell case.
