This 1916 Gibson A Mandolin is bright, clean, and original in every respect. It shows only the slightest play wear—a bit of finish wear to the back of the neck and minor fret wear. This is about as nice as they get. The very straight neck and excellent neck angle make for wonderful playability. Very full and open tone, too. The pick guards on this era of mando often deteriorate, yet this one looks nearly new. This 1916 Gibson A Mandolin is in Excellent Plus condition and includes the original hard shell case. Serial #34086.
