This Martin D-28 Herringbone from 1945 is a very nice example of a tapered-braced Adirondack dreadnought with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. The guitar is clean inside and out, while the neck angle and playability are as good as it gets. The finish is original with expected nicks and scratches normally found in a guitar that has been played but not abused. When you play this guitar it is easy to understand why it was played a lot. The right hand attack is very even and responsive which only adds to its clear and balanced tone whether flatpicking, strumming or fingerpicking. The bridge is an exact replacement of the original. There is an old hairline crack between the tuner screws that in no way could be considered a headstock crack. Includes non-original hardshell case.
