This 2012 Triggs mandolin is a reissue, throwback to Jim Triggs' time at Gibson in the early 1980s where he oversaw the famed custom shop. This Loar-inspired F5 has a nice, woody chop and features the paddle headstock from 1982, that really makes this a unique build in the sea of F-style mandolins.

Here with moderate fretwear, there is a bit of finish wear near the headstock that is probably the result of the mandolin living on a wall hanger. This instrument was definitely played but not abused. Built right here in Lawrence, KS, by the father/son duo of Jim and Ryan Triggs, this used F5 includes a hardshell case.
