This National - 2011 NRP Steel Deluxe Resonator guitar is a slide player's dream, and a projecting force of a guitar. It has all the desired punch from a resonator, with the added zing of steel construction. Bone nut and ebony fingerboard are great feeling accompaniments. The action is currently set a little on the high side for most acoustic fretters, but perfect for the combo of chords in the first position and slide playing up the neck. The resonance and sympathetic interplay between strings sets these guitars apart from your traditional bluegrass flat top, and it really sings in traditional open tunings. A nice "V" to the neck gives it a chunky, vintage feel to a modern guitar. Here in Excellent condition, this National includes the original hardshell case.
