The new Alexander - Syntax Error is a nostalgia trip back to when internet was a connection over a phone line, and telephones were hardwired into the wall. With tones from step-style ring modulation to 8-bit crashes and boops, this time machine will make your guitar a trigger for familiar effects from 20-30 years ago. "Stretch" mode brings in some pretty wild delay's both reversed and drenched in bit crushing effects. "Cube" sounds like a mid's pushed distortion with a filter that can make your tone both vocal or artificial. "Ring" is your standard ring modulator sound with a cycle speed parameter to get warm and bouncing sequenced synth sounds. "Freq" allows for some pretty outrages pitch-shifting effects. Incorporate up to 4 presets accessible using the footswitch, or bring in full MIDI or expression control. With a small footprint, there are tons of tones and dynamic ramps between settings to explore.
